A Chance Champion is anyone who wants to help create real-life opportunities for young people with SEND and support for their families.
We’re currently building the foundations. Once we secure funding, we’ll be able to put the right measures in place, including DBS checks, safeguarding processes, insurance and clear role guidance.
For now, you can still help by registering your interest (no obligation) in one of the ways below:

Could you offer a short, one-off workplace taster (around 1–5 hours) so a young person can experience your workplace?
No long placements and no pressure — just a simple, supported introduction to the world of work.

Job Coaches help young people build confidence through encouragement and practical support around tasters and future opportunities.
At this stage, we’re gathering expressions of interest — details, training and checks will follow once funding is in place.

Know a local business who might be open to helping?
You can suggest them (or introduce us) so we can invite them to offer a taster or become involved in another way.

Peer Mentors are parents/carers who can offer a listening ear and gentle signposting to other families.
This is not counselling — it’s support from someone who understands, with clear boundaries and guidance introduced once funded.
