The Chance Hub was created from lived experience — from the real journey of raising children and young people with SEND.
We understand how overwhelming it can feel to search for answers, navigate systems, and support your child while balancing everything else in life.
It can also feel isolating at times.
The Chance Hub exists to offer something many of us need — a space for understanding, encouragement, and practical support.
We bring families together, share guidance rooted in real experience, and help parents and carers feel more supported — and more confident about the future.

At The Chance Hub, we aim to:

What makes The Chance Hub unique is its strengths-based and forward-looking approach.
Many families are offered support only at crisis point, during major transitions, or when pressure has already built. The Chance Hub is different. We believe future preparation can begin earlier, in a way that feels positive, practical and hopeful.
We support families to recognise a child’s strengths, interests and emerging potential from an early stage, helping to build a fuller picture of who they are and who they are becoming. By bridging parent support, childhood development and future opportunity, The Chance Hub creates space for families to look ahead with greater confidence.
Rooted in lived experience, our work combines empathy with practical tools, real conversations and meaningful support. We do not focus only on difficulties or deficits — we also create room for possibility, preparation and hope.

Pamela is, first and foremost, a mum to two young men with SEND. Everything she knows about navigating the SEND world started at home — through years of assessments, long waits, moments of uncertainty, small victories, and the deep hope that every parent carries for their child’s future. Her lived experience is at the heart of everything she does.
Professionally, Pamela has spent more than 15 years working within Local Authority education and SEND pathways, supporting families and working alongside services, schools and colleges. But it’s her personal journey that truly shaped her understanding of how confusing, emotional and overwhelming the system can feel. She knows what it’s like to be searching for answers, to feel lost in the maze, and to keep going because your child needs you to.
The Chance Hub was created from this blend of experience and love — a place built by someone who has walked the path herself and wanted to make it easier for others. Pamela’s mission is simple: to help parents and carers feel more supported, more informed and less alone, especially during the transitions that matter most.
She also shares honest reflections, daily moments, SEND parenting realities and joyful wins on social media — offering a gentle space where families can feel seen and understood See her stories here:

When her son began struggling in school, Tina found herself overwhelmed and unsure where to turn. Support felt distant and hard to access — until she met Pamela, founder of The Chance Hub.
As a fellow SEND parent, Pamela understood her worries, her fears and the weight of trying to advocate alone. The connection between their families became a lifeline, giving Tina the strength, knowledge and confidence to continue fighting for the support her son deserved.
Through Pamela’s guidance, Tina learned how to navigate services, ask the right questions and work alongside professionals to help her son thrive. That experience transformed their journey and inspired Tina to offer the same hope and reassurance to others.
Today, Tina is driven by her son’s resilience and determination. She is proud to be part of The Chance Hub team, helping to build a space where parents feel supported, informed and never alone. She wants every family to know that there is help, there is hope, and together we can make sure no parent has to navigate the SEND maze without support.
