The Chance Hub was born out of lived experience — the real, everyday challenges of raising and supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
As parents and carers ourselves, we’ve faced those moments of uncertainty: not knowing where to turn, struggling to navigate systems, and feeling alone in the process. We know what it’s like to spend hours searching for answers, trying to access services, or fighting to be heard — all while balancing family life, work, and our children’s needs. We wanted to create something that we couldn’t find when we needed it most — a place of understanding, hope, and connection.
The Chance Hub is here to bring families together, share practical guidance, and remind every parent and carer that they’re not alone.
Our mission is simple: to give families the chance to breathe, to feel supported, and to look to the future with confidence.

As a mother of two sons with SEND, now aged 20 and 29, I’ve personally experienced the challenges and rewards of navigating the SEND system. My own journey has taught me the importance of understanding, patience, and persistence — but also how isolating it can sometimes feel.
Through The Chance Hub, I want to share what I’ve learned with other parents and carers — the tools, insights, and approaches that have worked for me — so that no one feels they have to face this journey alone. My passion is to empower families to feel supported, informed, and confident about their children’s futures.

As well as the joy it can bring to work alongside these inspiring children. I am passionate about supporting parents and helping every young person achieve their educational and employment goals. That is why I am proud to be a member of the Chance Hub, so no family feels they are struggling alone.

I’m a proud mum of three children, including my youngest, who is 19 and lives with Autism, Global Developmental Delay, and Moderate Learning Difficulties.
When my son was struggling at school, I felt completely lost and unsure where to turn for help. Support was difficult to find — until I met Pamela, the founder of The Chance Hub. As a mum of two sons with SEND, she understood exactly what I was going through. Pamela and her family became my lifeline, giving me the strength and confidence to keep going and to stand up for what my son needed.
With Pamela’s guidance, I learned how to connect with the right services and play an active role in supporting my son to thrive. That experience changed everything for us and inspired me to help others.
My son continues to inspire me every single day with his determination and resilience. It’s a privilege to be part of The Chance Hub, helping to create something that gives other parents and families the understanding, hope, and support I once needed myself.
I want you all to know that you are NOT alone. There IS help. There IS hope. And together, we can make sure no one else has to go through this journey unsupported.
At The Chance Hub, we focus on supporting parents and carers to find their way through the SEND process with confidence, care, and hope for their child’s future.
We don’t get involved in politics, public protests, or campaigns.
Our focus is on positive action — working with families and services to build understanding and progress.
We’re not here to fight battles or take sides — every family’s journey is unique, and we respect that completely.
Instead of putting energy into conflict, we focus on being smart, using our lived experience, understanding, and teamwork to find positive, practical ways forward.
We will stand beside you.
We’ll support and champion you as you work towards helping your young person achieve their best and prepare for the future.
We understand what it’s like to fight for support — because we’ve been there too.
The Chance Hub is a place to recharge, to learn, and to find encouragement and practical help when you need it most.
